Omaha singer/songrwriter Tim Kasher may be better known as the front-man to the bands Cursive and The Good Life. Kasher's solo material engages frequently with the troubles of arriving at middle-age. His single "Cold Love" maintains the humor of songwriting with Cursive and The Good Life but uses his solo project as a way of exploring more personal subjects. Familiar song arrangements carry over from his work with Cursive as he enlisted his erstwhile band's trumpet player to be featured as a prominent sonic element of his 2010 record The Game of Monogamy.
