G2 are currently celebrating their 24th year of playing classic 1970s Genesis. G2 pay tribute to a vintage period in Genesis? long and colourful history, the four-man ?Seconds Out? era, and earlier Gabriel years. With a repertoire extending from the 1970 Trespass album to 1980's Duke, G2 faithfully recreate some of the finest progressive rock ever written.
For the first time at The Wharf G2 will be performing two consecutive shows with completely different setlists.
The Friday show will be dominated by early ?70s Gabriel era classics, with the band taking the opportunity to play some tracks not performed by them for many years.
The Saturday show will be a recreation of Genesis? Duke Tour performance at The Lyceum on the 7th May 1980, also known as ?Musica?. For this show singer Dave will be joining Jeff on drums.
