Consent Agenda is a fundraising comedy/drama show focusing on sexual assault awareness and prevention. The show supports New Mexico’s 2025 legislation to improve our schools' sex education curriculum. It also addresses the November 2024 U.S. presidential election to inspire more action to protect our freedoms and to protect our country from fascism. We want to help prevent someone convicted of sexual assault from becoming president. A bad role model for our children.Consent Agenda features local artists in theatre, music, and video. Collaborators and performers include fabulous pianist Natasha Stojanovska, comedy writer Rikki Carroll, actor and CBS News Radio broadcast journalist Gil Gross, Zia Singers Chorus President and actor Carmen Hoffman Shupe, St. Louis storyteller/singer Kathy Schottel, actor/vocalist Rhoda Bodzin, stand-up comic and bass player Bob Shupe, political activist/actor Lila Quezada, producer/composer Valarie Morris, and many other amazing talents. Our multimedia collaboration includes comedic skits, historic and contemporary music, videos, and speakers along with audience participation. A talkback and information handouts are available for audiences. Beneficiaries of This FundraiserAfter expenses, proceeds of this fundraiser go to Girls Inc. of Santa Fe and the New Mexico Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs, Inc. (NMCSAP).
