Grooverider is the drum and bass project of UK-based DJ, Raymond Bingham. His start in electronic music dates back to England's underground rave scene in the late 1980s, where he amassed a steady following by spinning sets at prominent clubs and hip warehouse parties. As his style began to focus on the hard-edged beats of jungle music, he became one of the UK's more popular drum and bass DJs. His efforts were rewarded in the early 1990s in the form of his own show on BBC Radio 1. In addition to his continued work as a DJ and radio presenter, Bingham has released one Grooverider album of original productions and remixes, entitled Mysteries of Funk (1998).
