Combining the art of comedy and music is no easy feat, but the English group The Lancashire Hotpots has mastered the formula to stunning resolve. Formed in 2006, the band paints folk music with hilarious comedic overtones to create songs that revolve around themes of technology, British culture and its hometown of Lancashire, complete with the use of Lancashire dialect. With songs such as "Chippy Tea" and "He's Turned Emo," The Lancashire Hotpots is not meant to be taken seriously, but has nevertheless released an album as year since its conception.
