Pato Banton is a reggae artist from Birmingham, England who rose to fame with the number one hit “Baby Come Back”, a cover of the classic The Equals song in the early 1990s. He recorded “Pato and Roger a Go Talk” with Ranking Roger, making his debut on the English Beat’s third album. Five years later, he came up with his solo debut album Never Give In, followed by an EP Visions of the World in 1988 and in 1990 he came up with Wize Up(No Compromise) featuring a college hit, a cover of the Police’s “Spirits in the Material World”. His album Life is a Miracle released in 2000 also received a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album.
