American singer Alejandro Aranda, better-known by his stage name Scarypoolparty, first made an impression on the 17th season of American Idol. Before auditioning for the show, the Pomona, CA-native played at open mics, small-time concerts and anywhere else that he could while working at a warehouse. His expressive vocals and guitar technique at the audition blew away judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie - who singled him out as a star in the making. While on the show, Aranda chose to perform original songs over covers, of which "Out Loud" became his debut single. Following the release of the singles "Fading Away" and "10 Years," he inked a deal with Hollywood Records in 2019. Later that same year, he dropped two more singles - "Tonight" and "Cholo Love -" ahead of the release of his debut album Exit Form. The 12-track record featured songs like "Black Cross," "Dance the Night Away," "Beneath the Skin" and more.
