Bert Kreischer is a stand-up comedian and actor from Florida who first came to attention in 1997 with a feature in Rolling Stone as "top partier" at Florida State University. The article went on to inspire the 2002 film Van Wilder. He got his first hosting gig in 2000 as the co-host of the FX Network's The X Show, before earning his own series Hurt Bert, in 2004. Kreischer landed his debut hour-long special on Comedy Central in 2009, and went on to host his own Travel Channel reality show Bert the Conqueror, for which he travels across the US to amusement parks and sports venues.
