Jazz Open Stuttgart

The Jazz Open at Stuttgart usually has a lineup that is untouchable - musicians like James Brown, Paul Simon, Grace Jones, Steely Dan, and a lot of amazing groups whose names are not yet household names all come to the stage and play for a huge, delighted audience. The festival runs over a week and is held at multiple venues - most of them located in and around the Schlossplatz, but also includes the Old Castle itself, BIX Jazzclub and others. Hearing some of the best musicians in the world do what they love is astounding.
