Richmond Theatre though is a medium-sized venue, is Richmond's major entertainment space in terms of theater. The shows vary between touring drama, comedy, opera, ballet, musicals, concerts and pantomime, so it's a good bet for whatever dramatic fare you're after. Although the audience tend to be mostly local, it's often worth the short train ride to see one of the theater's quality offerings, or even a show before or after its run in the West End, at less than the West End prices.
