Constitution Square Historic Site is a park situated in Danville, Kentucky that spreads across an area of 3 acres (0.012 square kilometers). It is also used as an open-air museum to view the various sculptures spread across the park. Set up in 1937, it was first under the Kentucky Department of Parks. Part of the land was donated to the park, and in 1942 the park was renamed John G. Weisiger Memorial State Park in honor of him. With time, the name went on to be changed to Constitution Square State Shrine and finally to Constitution Square State Historic Site. In 2012, the Department of Parks took over and finally renamed it to Constitution Square Historic Site.
