Located in Kentucky's Boyle County and also serving as the county seat, Danville is a charming city that is known for its rich history. Nicknamed "The City of Firsts", Danville was home to the first courthouse in Kentucky, apart from being its first capital and the place where the first Kentucky Constitution was written and signed. Today, the Constitution Square Historic Site in the city celebrates the state's early political history while emphasizing the role of Danville in its evolution. Other attractions include the McDowell House Museum, the Great American Dollhouse Museum and the Pioneer Playhouse.
