The Hart-Cluett Historic House Museum is housed in a townhouse in Troy. The Federal-style building was built by William Howard in the early nineteenth century and now functions as a museum displaying local history and culture. Take a tour of the house and explore its beautiful design and intricate décor. The displays include antique artefacts, furniture, photographs and a rich collection of archives, depicting the history of the dwelling as well as its inhabitants. The house is open for public on the second Saturday of each month, from March until November at 2 PM. You can also arrange for a group or private tour by appointment.
