Standing at the spot where the Methodist Church stood, Ashburton Arts Center is a community arts center. It serves as a venue where people can enjoy film screenings and musical performances. Because of its roots as a church, the musical events take place right in the center where people prayed. Apart from the aforementioned activities, the Ashburton Art Center also becomes a center to a Yoga class, dance workshops for forms such as flamenco and Bollywood, community choir, Majidah belly dance studio and many more. Come here to creatively rejuvenate yourself on Saturdays (the only time the center is open).
