Undoubtedly, one of the most famous clubs in the world, this was the birthplace of a revolution that changed the music world forever. It was from this club the 'Fab Four' rose to heights. The original club closed down in 1973 to make way for an underground rail link, moving to its present site in 1976. The Cavern Club has been witness to almost three hundred performances by The Beatles, and it was here that Sir Paul McCartney played his last gig of the 20th Century. In addition to the main club, the venue features the Cavern Live Lounge, a space for private parties and one-off performances, as well as the Cavern Pub, a relaxed watering hole with regular local live music. In addition, to live gigs, the club also caters to a number of tastes including retro, dance and party.
