This expansive state park unfurls around the eponymous ridge, offering visitors the chance to explore its serene environs and breathtaking surrounds. Sugarloaf Ridge State Park features a diverse landscape defined by groves of redwoods and oaks, picturesque meadows, verdant hills and thunderous waterfalls. Sonoma Creek flows through the expanse of the park which is stippled in vibrant wildflowers come Spring. Hike along the sloping inclines of the Bald Mountain whose summit affords delightful views of the surrounding vistas, or camp amid nature's bounties. Other activities which can be undertaken here include stargazing and horseback riding among others.
