Brisbane Cricket Ground

The Brisbane Cricket Ground is affectionately known as The Gabba because it is located in the suburb of Woolloongabba. It is home to the Queensland Bulls Cricket Team and the Brisbane Lions Football Club. Built on what was originally swampland in 1895, The Gabba hosted its first game a year later, ending in a 61-run tie between Parliament and Press. Today, The Gabba hosts Test and Sheffield Shield matches, Ashes clashes, and soccer games. Sports fans should check it out for a fun time.
