TOURIST ATTRACTIONS & SIGHTSEEING, PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Incorporated in 1822, Chaplin draws its name from Deacon Benjamin Chaplin, a local landlord. Anchored in the northern part of Connecticut in the noted Windham County, it sits in the gorgeous region of The Last Green Valley. Diana's Pool, Natchaug State Forest, Goodwin Forest, and Three Joshua Trust trails are some worthwhile outdoor attractions that are a must-visit in this little town. In addition to the sparkling lakes, rivers, and ponds, there are other prominent places of interest like museums, theaters, and historic districts to explore.
