Located in Florida's Nassau County, Fernandina Beach is a beautiful coastal city. The northernmost city on the Atlantic coast, it is known as "The Isle of Eight Flags", as since 1562, it has the flags of eight nations flown over it, including those of France and Spain. Fernandina Beach has been the filming location of the adventure film "The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking". Every year, the city hosts the lively Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival, which attracts many tourists. The festival offers a variety of seafood delicacies, live music shows, local arts and crafts, and much more.
