Known as the Kindness Capital of Kentucky, La Grange is located about 20 miles (32 kilometers) from Louisville. Offering a melange of experiences such as delicious local restaurants, boutique stores, and architectural gems, the town lets you explore a unique side of the state. Families, and especially children, will enjoy the delightful journey on the Main Street Train, which runs directly through the town. For history buffs, La Grange is home to Oldham County History Center and the La Grange Railroad Museum, which explore local history through immersive exhibits.
