Maryland's Frederick County is home to Emmitsburg is a town that is located just south of the famous Mason Dixon line separating Maryland from Pennsylvania. Emmitsburg is a religious destination, being home to the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes and the Basilica and National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Emmitsburg is also famous for its Mount St. Mary's University. Another interesting attraction in the town is the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial, which honors the fallen firefighters of the country.
