Medina was founded in 1818 and was originally known as Mecca. Medina began as a small farming community and later flourished as a significant commercial center. Today, visitors can explore the city on a splendid tour. Castle Noel is one of the primary attractions here, which features an indoor Christmas-themed museum where visitors can look at Christmas movie props, admire beautiful window displays, look at a gigantic animated Christmas tree, and shop for unique souvenirs. The historic district of Medina is home to old buildings and also hosts local events.
