The 19th Century historic landmark Fort Clinch State Park is named after General Duncan Lamont Clinch. every month, local volunteers dress as Union soldiers and relive many of the daily routines of the fort from the 1860s in a living history exhibition. Visitors can take a guided tour of the fort or wander through its many rooms on their own. Several campgrounds are available for overnight visits, and a small gift shop offers souvenirs. Camping within the park allows you to extend your stay and immerse yourself in the natural and historical ambiance.
