Dresden's oldest cinema, Schauburg has three screens: one for mainstream movies, the others for children's films and art-house productions. Every February Schauburg hosts the International Festival of Short Films. An outdoor screen is set up in the summer. A large bar in the foyer, which looks rather like the bow of a ship, offers a selection of refreshments for you to enjoy in one of the many comfortable seating areas.
