Making its debut one year after the turn of the 21st Century, this venue is an impressive representation of the culture and especially the technology for the new era. The Dolby Theatre has hosted The Academy Awards ceremonies, concerts given by Celine Dion, Prince, Barry Manilow and Elvis Costello, as well as a staging of GREASE with Frankie Avalon, the Dixie Chicks, and the American Idol finals.
