The Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium is one of the largest football stadiums in Greece. A completely modern football stadium, it is home to one of Greece's most prestigious clubs, Olympiacos. The stadium is located in Piraeus and has a seating capacity of more than 32,000 seating spectators. Karaiskaki is also historically known as the site for the first Olympic Games that took place in 1896. It was renovated in 2004 for the Summer Olympics. It is among very few other stadiums in Europe to have been accredited with 4 stars.
