Originally built in 1931, this historic baseball stadium has been host to a number of unforgettable games over the years in its many incarnations. Formerly known as the Municipal stadium, it was renamed as John O'Donnell stadium in 1971 to honor former Davenport Times-Democrat sports editor, John O'Donnell. In 2007, the name was changed once more to Modern Woodmen Park. Home of the Quad Cities River Bandits, the stadium boasts a spectacular riverside location and even features a ferris wheel off to one side. Join the avid local fans as they take to the stands on game days to cheer on their beloved Bandits. Special group outings, private events and concerts can also be organized at Modern Woodmen Park.
