Théâtre Maisonneuve

Théâtre Maisonneuve is Place des Arts' second-largest theater in a traditional orchestra and two balcony set-up. Like the other halls in the complex, the Maisonneuve stresses acoustics and sightlines over flashy architecture and other frills. It is home to the Société Pro Musica the Orchestre Métropolitain and parts of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens' season, as well as to other seasonal and one-off tenants during the Jazz Festival and the Just for Laughs festival. A traditional, yet flexible space, the Théâtre Maisonneuve is the perfect setting for dance performances, musical concerts, stand up comedy, ensemble theatre and even film screenings.
