You can hear local bands and even national acclaimed bands have performed at the Knitting Factory and you can rent the location for private events. The Knitting Factory Concert House also encompasses Alterknit Lounge; entrance on West 1st street. The lounge has Karaoke on Wednesday nights and the lounge has great DJs.
