Opened in 1963, Guthrie Theater has played a significant in introducing varying formats of performing arts to the residents of Minneapolis. Hosting the finest plays of many different genres, the annual program is well worth perusing. But their adjustable proscenium stage, which also functions as a rectangular frame opening and all-encompassing stage view, is what gives an edge to the play watching experience.
