The Renitenztheater is considered as a stronghold of parody and satire in theater. The theater showcases political and literary cabaret, through travesty and chansons. Every year the theater's talented ensemble stages its own program based, not only on contemporary political satire, but also a variety of different themes which is highly entertaining and makes up for a time well spent. German-Turkish cabaret week is a yearly event that draws much attention from theater lovers and critics alike.
