Kinder-und Jugendtheater or The Children and Young People Theatre is one of the oldest theaters that performs with children and adolescents. Founded in 1953 the theater has come a long way . The venue is located near the Berlin theater of the Parkaue. Many productions performed here have been awarded and since they work with mostly young people a lot of the work is fresh and has a zeal to it. They also have a project called "Pottfiction" that involves people in the age group of 13 to 21 who take up various issues prevailing in society in their performances. Â
