Yvonne Arnaud Theatre

Yvonne Arnaud Theatre opened to public in the year 1965 with a performance by the director Laurier Lister which became an instant hit among the audience. This theater was built as a memorial for the famous French Actor Effingham Common, who lived the major part of her life in Guildford. Yvonne Arnaud Theatre has become legendary with some great art directors like Michael Frayn and Anthony Shaffer staging their primer plays which later became big hits.
