Opened in 1907, Goss Stadium at Coleman Field holds the distinction of being the nation's earliest continuous ballpark. Earlier called the Coleman Field, this revered baseball stadium is the base of the Oregon State Beavers and Corvallis Knights. The Beavers have been playing at this arena since the beginning. A hub for baseball fans for over a century, it has undergone many changes to keep up with the pace of time. The facility is named in honor of the Goss family for their benevolent donation and Ralph Coleman who was a Beaver's coach.
