Opened in 1983, Erie Insurance Arena is among the region's best sporting and entertainment venues. Ice hockey and basketball fans ensure that they never miss match here. Catch the OHL Erie Otters in action from September to April or the Erie BayHawks during basketball season. Disney on Ice and, Barnum and Bailey Circus were staged on this horseshoe shaped arena. It is also a popular spot for concerts with the likes of KISS, Elton John and Manilow gracing this arena in the past.
