Strongroom Bar & Kitchen

The creative scene in Shoreditch is fading like the paint on St. Paul's Dome and is making way for the trendy scenesters. But still, the aptly named Strongroom is determined to keep the grunge flag flying above the dank archways and edgy retro bar, proud of its heritage and bare bricked walls adorned with roughshod artwork. The beers are European, the food delicious and reasonably priced, and most evenings there is some form of live music - usually acoustic due to its intimate confines. The Strongroom is authentic arty-cool and a refreshing haven from the flashy chrome bars.
