Jean Cocteau Cinema

The history of Jean Cocteau Cinema goes back to 1976 when it was established as Collective Fantasy Cinema. In 1983 Brent Kliewer gained ownership and renamed it after the French artist. Over the decades it had seen different inhabitants, but in 2013, fiction novelist of Game of Thrones fame, George R. R. Martin, purchased the abandoned theater and restored it to its former glory. Today, the cinema showcases both period classics as well as the latest blockbusters. The highlight of the theater is its 'Midnight Movie' program, where viewers can watch a new production every weekend, post 11p.
