Fredericton

Located along the Saint John River, Fredericton is the capital of the province of New Brunswick. People have been inhabiting the area for at least 12,000 years, and the Maliseet people used the area for farming. Today, the city is known as an artistic center in the area, as well as a growing IT sector. Fredericton is also home to two universities, giving it a much more cosmopolitan feel than many other small cities. The city has many attractions, including theaters, museums, art galleries, parks, and more.
