Located in the heart of the Alkmaar, Theater De Vest stands on the Canadaplein, in stellar company of some of the city's most popular attractions like Stedelijk Museum and Bibliotheek Kennemerward. Versatile programming and two stellar performance spaces, have made this, a leading name for cultural events in the city. The theater attracts the cream of performing artists and groups from the region. Apart from mainstream events, the theater also has a program of events for school kids, and hosts Zomer op het Plein, an annual outdoor cultural extravaganza.
