Messe und Veranstaltungshalle Löbau has been at its current location since 1882, but the site has undergone several changes since then. Initially, the land was used for agriculture and later on it was the site of a sugar factory until 2008. At that time, the factory was demolished and space was converted into an event venue where many cultural activities are held on regular basis.
