One of the last remaining art deco movie theaters in Long Island, the Suffolk Theater now stands refurbished as a performing arts center in Riverhead. A city landmark, Suffolk Theater was built in 1933 by the renowned architect of that era R Thomas Short, to screen latest releases at that time.
