A performance venue for the resident wordsmith, comic, future orator and anyone who is a fan of the spoken word, the Poetry Club is a becoming space. Set in a former warehouse venue, the soul of this intimate venue hums with creativity and influence of the arts. Besides poetry reading and open mic nights, the Poetry Club is also a location for film screenings, private parties and other gigs. In a corner of the club, there is also a quiet bar area for post-performance introspection or if you need to source some simple liquid courage for the next gig. The smoke machine that blows out billows of smoke on the stage, sending tendrils of mystique your way deserves a special mention.
