A pleasure pier located in Hastings, East Sussex, Hastings Pier was built in the year 1872. Hastings Pier reached the peak of its popularity in the 1930s. In the 1960s, Hastings Pier was a much sought-after venue for music shoots. Damaged due to storm in the 1990, it remained close to public for a few years since then. Hastings Pier is spotted in several TV series and films. It is seen in Foyle's War, an ITV war drama, set in the borough of Hastings. In the year 1993, Hastings Pier was also one of the locations for Queen Jane music video of Kingmaker. In 2009, Hastings Pier featured in the single Tracers a music video shot for A-Z series for Ash. Presently, Hastings Pier is under renovation and it will open to public access by the year 2015.
