Hjemkomst Center is a museum and also a cultural center, which is host to various cultural and local events. The venue has a viking ship, which is a replica of the actual Gokstad viking ship, which was built in the 9th Century period. Various historical art-facts are kept as exhibits in this ship. Some of the popular exhibits shown at the center are Prairie Daughters, exhibits reflecting on the facts of the Boom period and so on. The venue is governed by the city of Moorhead and serves as a great source of entertainment to its patrons. The center mostly focuses on the classical facts, historical events and cultural events.
