Spread over 95000 square feet (8800 meter square), the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre is the hub of cultural activity in the city. Comprising of four distinct venues, the center can accommodate 1393 people in total with the Partridge Hall being the largest of the four with a total seating capacity of 782. Besides the concert hall, there is a recital hall that can seat 304 people, a 199 seat cinema and a dance and theater venue that can seat up to 108 people. Not only are each of the event venues equipped with the latest sound and lighting technology, but the venue is run by only a handful of full-time and part-time staff members supported by hundreds of volunteers. If you are looking to understand the cultural scene of St. Catharines, there are few places better than FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre.
