Romanian Antonello Venditti released his first LP, Theorius Campus, in 1972 at the age of 23. In his fruitful music career, throughout which he has created well over two dozen albums and singles, Venditti has been known for his use of social themes and religious language that often attracted negative media attention from politicians and religious figures. He created his own label, Heinz Music, when he began collaborating with producer Alessandro Colombini in 1982. His most successful album is arguably Prendilo tu Questo Frutto Amaro, released in 1995 while he was riding his mainstream breakthrough.
