Miki Howard is a jazz singer/songwriter from Chicago who arrived on the scene in 1986 with her debut album, Come Share My Love. The daughter of gospel singers Josephine Howard and Clay Graham, of The Caravans and The Pilgrim Jubilees, respectively, Howard was instilled with a strong musical sense at an early age. After moving to Los Angeles and soaking up the culture there, Howard started making her own music, playing her own shows and recording her own original songs. Her R&B flavored jazz material was met with open arms and Howard has since grown into one of the more recognizable female voices of the Southern California jazz world.
