Who doesn’t like to throw down with a good bar-b-que? Did you know there are basically four different styles? And in this new series, we’re going to share the secrets of all of them!First up is Memphis BBQ. Our chef instructor and former BBQ restaurant owner, will teach you how to prepare ribs slow cooked in a pit and prepared either “dry” or “wet.” “Dry” ribs are covered with a rub consisting of salt, pepper, brown sugar, and various herbs and spices before cooking and are normally eaten without sauce. “Wet” ribs are brushed with a thick, sweet, and smoky tomato-based sauce before, during, and after cooking. Either way, they’re ridiculously delicious!
