Have you always wanted to learn how to make sourdough bread at home but didn’t think you could? Join our master bread baker, Chef Bonnie, for a morning of starters and loaves. She’ll have you cranking out homemade loaves in no time! Each guest will be given the opportunity to take home their own loaf ofsourdoughto continue proofing and bake at home! Additionally, all attendees of the class will be given the opportunity to take home somesourdoughstarter to feed, nourish and make future loaves with (and hopefully hand down to your family for generations).PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING WITH YOU TO CLASS:A non reactive medium sized bowl (Plastic or glass will work great) to transport your dough ball/loaf home in.If you would like to take some starter home, please bring a jar that can hold up to a cup (8 oz).Menu4 Different Types of Sourdough Bread: Traditional Loaf, Seeded/Nut Loaf, Honey Wheat Loaf and Irish LoafGrilled Sourdough Bread, Arugula, Goat Cheese and Black OlivesAn assortment of baked goods made with sourdough starter: Sourdough Crackers and Sourdough Rye BrowniesComplimentary Coffee & Hot TeaWhat To ExpectGreat baking is about more than just recipes—it's about celebrating pastry experiences with a foodie community. In this class, you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructor.Instructor: Chef BonnieLength: Approximately 3 hoursFormat: Hands-On. You will work with other students in groups of up to 2 people. You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class, so please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back. At the conclusion of the class, everyone will enjoy the menu items created.Restrictions: Ages 16 and older.
