Tantric is a band from Louisville, Kentucky that blends together elements of alternative rock and heavy metal to create a unique sonic amalgam. Founded in 1999, the group quickly established itself as a group with a take no prisoners approach to live performance. Tantric released it self-titled debut album in 2001 and since then the group has stayed busy, releasing additional albums regularly as well as keeping an active touring schedule.
